GANPAPATH –is my real name. But I prefer 'Air' since it seems friendlier and more approachable.

I graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in Thailand. I majored in English and minored in Thai and Psychology. Back then, I was an English tutor for 5 years. My experiences in teaching English and working for some companies drove me to further study in Master’s degree in Business Administration, and I got my MBA from the University of Tasmania, Australia.

I have been teaching Thai as a volunteer for more than 4 years because I want to help people learn the language and culture of Thailand. That was after I quit my baking school and café because of a medical condition known as fibromyalgia.

Life Philosophy: 'Live to Give' and 'Pay it Forward'

My journey is marked by my unwavering commitment to helping others. My guiding principles, 'Live to Give' and 'Pay it Forward,' aren't just words; they're a way of life. Here's how I put these philosophies into action:

Helping Fibromyalgia Warriors

My own journey with Fibromyalgia heightened my empathy for fellow sufferers. I'm committed to supporting and guiding them, offering hope in challenging times.

Volunteering for Social Causes

I'm committed to societal contribution, actively engaging in social causes, aiding communities, and advocating for environmental conservation.

Teaching Thai for Free

I believe in accessible knowledge, sharing Thai language and culture expertise freely for over five years, empowering learners to connect with Thai culture.

Guiding Meditation and Mindfulness

Guiding inner journeys through mindfulness and meditation aligns with my 'Pay it Forward' philosophy, nurturing peace amid life's chaos and supporting your Thai learning adventure.

My Teaching Method

In my Online Thai Classes, I understand that every learner has their own unique preferences and needs. That's why I offer flexible teaching methods to cater to your learning style. You can choose whether it be transliterations, phonetics, or learning the Thai alphabets themselves. My goal is to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in your language learning journey.

Transliterations

If you are just starting out and find it more accessible to learn with transliterations (Romanized Thai), I can accommodate your preference. I will guide you through pronunciation and gradually introduce you to the Thai script at your own pace.

Phonetics

For those who prefer a phonetic approach, I can focus on teaching you Thai pronunciation using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) or other phonetic methods, such as ‘Paiboon’. This approach helps you master the nuances of Thai sounds and tones.

Thai Alphabets

If you are ready to dive into the Thai script from the beginning, we'll provide comprehensive lessons on reading and writing Thai alphabets. You'll learn to read and write in Thai, opening up new opportunities for communication and understanding.

Our adaptable teaching methods ensure that you have the flexibility to choose the approach that suits you best. Whether you are starting with transliterations, diving into phonetics, or embracing Thai alphabets, we will customise your learning experience to match your preferences and goals.

My designed classes are not bound by outdated textbooks; instead, I provide modern and interactive learning materials such as PDFs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and other cutting-edge resources to make your Thai language learning journey engaging and effective.
